Experiential Graphic Design Case Studies

Throughout four semesters of Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) studies, I have been fortunate to engage in a diverse array of projects spanning multiple industry sectors. This extensive experience has allowed me to explore and apply EGD principles in various contexts, honing my skills and expanding my understanding of the field. Here is a collection of some of those works where I was able to jump into a variety of projects at various stages in the process.

EverGreen Workplace


Application of corporate visual identities to create a branded environment with a focus on incorporating natural elements and contemporary aesthetics. 
Interiors Context
When engaged to create the graphic wallcovering, the interior design of the space had settled on the theme of “Metropolitan Cool / Cool Established”. Drawing from various historical eras of the city, the materials aim to create a timeless look that will serve the office for years to come. The graphic concept seeks to build upon this foundation, adding an energizing effect to the space.



Visual Positioning
Following a discovery period of research about Kansas City, narratives for the visual strategy of the project were crafted, establishing the foundation direction for the graphic’s development.
Schematic Design Ideation
Elements of each composition borrow from a proportionally rhymatic scale to create dynamic movements illustrating facets of Kansas City.





Schematic Design Refined Concepts
Following the initial client meeting, refinements were made based on the preferred directions. Additionally, a plaque was developed to inform viewers about the significance of the graphic mural.







Design Development / Design Intent
Upon selecting a concept, the final design was translated into drawings outlining the design intent details, material spefications, and fabrication methods.



Boys & Girls Club Experience


This project involves creating an experiential exhibit to visually portray the story of the Boys & Girls Club of America. The exhibit utilizes various graphics to narrate the organization's history, showcase its values, and highlight the impactful work of the nonprofit organization.

Upon selecting a concept, the final design was translated into drawings outlining the design intent details, material spefications, and fabrication methods.



Workplace Fitness Wall Graphic


The project involved updating an existing word wall graphic to align with the new interior design of the space. The client’s hopes for the graphic was to create a modern and inspiring visual feature for the office fitness center that motivates employees and enhance their experience.


Amenities Building Icon Studies


The project involved creating a graphic mural for a modern workplace situated in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. Positioned in a collaborative cafe, the mural acts as an engaging focal point, harmonizing with the existing interior design and celebrating the location of the office.
